The arts in our children's education has proven to be more than just fun activities. The arts teach tolerance and opens minds. The arts boast self-confidence, and can improve overall academic performance. The arts provide a creative outlet, and alternatives to delinquency. The arts inspire dreams and a positive attitude in general. But the sad truth is that we have allowed the arts to virtually disappear from our children's academic programs!
